Trials and tribulations of training for my second marathon

Angelica Heritage Days 5k

Wasn't my best run.  My shins were really tight which is extremely unusual for me, and I felt pretty fatigued throughout the race.  However, I still finished with a pretty decent time for me -- somewhere around 26:30 (it was manually timed, and I didn't write down what my time was).

It wasn't the most organized race I've run, however it was 1st year of the race and there were only about 30 participants so it really wasn't a big deal.  The weather wasn't ideal either --it rained for most of the race--but it wasn't too cold.  However it was really great that I got to catch up with a few people from my hometown.  Overall, it was a pretty nice race and I hope that I'll be in town to run it again next year.
